Tools and Experience
RI provides tools and experience for:
- Technology Screening – by screening multiple remediation technologies, RI recognizes that each site remains different and benefits from the consideration of various approaches, alone or in combination. This approach avoids a “cookie-cutter” approach and tailors a solution to each site’s specific needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Treatability Studies – sites are complex and chemical interactions can be challenging; treatability studies may be used to both confirm and optimize treatment approaches for all the treatment technologies.
- Site Data Analysis and Evaluation Consulting/Recommendations – site data from each location is used in models to estimate the various demands for each alternative. When required data is unavailable, we provide recommendations for supplemental information to avoid making assumptions that could prove critical to success.
- Geographic Information System (GIS) Site Visualization – even the best data needs a tool to present this information in clear and understandable forms. GIS provides a tool for visualizing, analyzing, and interpreting site data to better understand and communicate relationships, patterns, and trends for a site remediation system.
